UB Rugby Qualifies For Postseason

The University at Buffalo Bulls Rugby Club has qualified for postseason play after compiling a 6-2 record regular season record.
UB will take on the UConn Huskies in a Liberty Conference Challenge matchup Saturday, November 6th at the Union Point Sports Complex in Weymouth, MA. The match features the second place teams from the conference's Empire and Northeast Divisions. The match kicks off at 12:30pm.
The Bulls have also received an at-large bid to play in the 2021 USA Rugby D1-AA playoffs. UB will face Ivy League runner-up Harvard and a second still to be determined opponent in regional play November 19 & 21 in Cherry Hill, NJ. "The playoff bid is a great reward for the guys and validation of all the hard work they have put in this season" said UB Rugby Head Coach Mike Hodgins. "We will continue to keep putting in the work as we get ready for these games." he added.
The UBRAA is registered with the New York State Department of State as a not-for-profit corporation and is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
