The University at Buffalo Rugby Alumni Association (UBRAA) was founded in the summer of 2016 to promote the development and growth of rugby at the University at Buffalo thru alumni support and to keep alumni, parents, friend and supporters of UB Rugby informed of the team's current status and progress. 

The goal of the UBRAA is to develop into an organization that will not only support the team financially, but will also provide a network of alumni support across the country. Funds raised by the UBRAA will be used for travel expenses, equipment, training, recruitment and scholarships.


The UBRAA is officially registered with the New York State Department of State as a not-for-profit corporation and is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

The UBRAA is run by a nine member board of directors. Board membership consists of four year terms and is open to all UBRAA members in future elections. There are four executive officer positions on the board: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. These positions are held by sitting board members.
