UBRAA Parents Weekend Recap
The UBRAA held their 3rd Annual Parents Weekend on October 1, 2022 to great success. The day began with a jersey presentation to the team's A-side by the alumni in attendance and continued with a Liberty Conference D1 league match against Harvard at the Ellicott rugby pitch.

UB Rugby played a hard fought match under the newly donated goal posts but ultimately lost in the waning seconds by a score of 29-28 as a potential game winning try held up in-goal at full time.

Post match, over 100 UB Rugby players, coaches, parents and alumni gathered at Jack Rabbit restaurant to celebrate the day.

After dinner, the UBRAA President Pete Mancuso presented the UBRAA's annual "First XV" scholarship to three recipients: James Armstrong, Jack Daley and Ken Mulvey.

The UBRAA was also proud to announce the creation of our professional networking program where we pair players with alumni to assist with internships, career mentoring, and job placement after graduation. We also discussed future UBRAA goals to improve the rugby facilities, which include placing a storage equipment container on the field and an electronic score board.
